Who we are

ClipsForAI is operated by LumonTec (LumonTec di Stefano Gagliotti), Corso Alessandro Volta 243, 80040 Terzigno (NA), Italy, VAT number IT10981501215, email info@lumontec.it (“we”, “us”). By using ClipsForAI you accept these terms; when you create an account we ask you to accept them explicitly. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

The service

ClipsForAI turns a video link or an uploaded video file into sheets of timestamped screenshots and a transcript (a “storyboard”), so that AI assistants and people can understand the video without watching it. You can use it on the website and, with a Premium or Enterprise plan, through an AI connector (MCP) authenticated with API keys.

Results stay available for 2 hours, then they are deleted for good: download what you need in time. Screenshots and transcripts are produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions.

Who can use ClipsForAI

You must be at least 16 years old. If you use ClipsForAI for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

Your account

• You need an account to subscribe to a paid plan. Use an email address you control.
• Keep your password and your API keys secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account and your keys, so revoke a key or change your password if you think someone else has it, and tell us.
• One person, one account: don’t create several accounts to get around the limits.

Acceptable use

Only process videos you have the right to use: your own videos, videos you have permission for, or uses that the law allows. You are responsible for the content you submit and for what you do with the results.

You must not:

• submit illegal content, or content that infringes copyright or other people’s rights, including their privacy;
• use ClipsForAI to harass, deceive or harm anyone;
• get around the limits, for example with multiple accounts, shared API keys or automated requests beyond your plan;
• attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, except for security research that follows our disclosure rules;
• resell ClipsForAI or offer it to others as your own service without our written agreement.

Third-party platforms: videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Vimeo and other platforms are subject to those platforms’ own terms and to the rights of their owners. Respecting them is your responsibility. We never log in to these platforms, so private videos cannot be processed.

We may refuse or stop a job, and suspend access, when we have good reason to believe these rules are being broken.

Your content and your results

You keep all rights to what you submit and to the results. You give us only the permission we need to process them and deliver the results to you, for the short time described in the Privacy policy. We don’t claim any ownership, we don’t keep copies and we don’t use your content to train AI. If you pass the results to an AI service, that service’s own terms apply.

Plans and limits

Daily limits restart at midnight UTC. To protect the service for everyone, free processing may be paused for the rest of the day when overall demand is very high. We may change plans and limits in the future; the current ones are always on the pricing page.

Paid plans (coming soon)

Paid plans cannot be bought yet. When they launch, the conditions below will apply, and the full details will be shown to you before you pay:

• Prices: Premium €10 per month billed yearly (€120 per year) or €12 billed monthly; Enterprise €24.90 per month billed yearly (€298.80 per year) or €29.90 billed monthly. The final price, including any taxes, will be shown before you pay.
• Payments will be handled by Stripe. We will never see or store your card details.
• Renewal: subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You will be able to cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid.
• Right of withdrawal: if you are a consumer in the EU, you will have the 14-day right of withdrawal provided by law, under the conditions that will be shown at checkout.
• Deleting your account will also cancel the subscription.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep ClipsForAI running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors: we may need maintenance, and video platforms can change in ways that stop downloads from working. We may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly reduces a paid plan you are using, we will tell you in advance and you will be able to cancel.

Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer protection law gives you, such as the legal guarantee of conformity, or our liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.

Within those limits:

• ClipsForAI is provided as it is. We are not responsible for losses caused by the content you submit, by how you use the results, by third-party platforms, or by events outside our reasonable control.
• Because results are deleted after 2 hours by design, keeping a copy of what you need is up to you.
• If you use ClipsForAI for business purposes, we are not liable for indirect losses or loss of profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using ClipsForAI at any time and delete your account yourself from the account page. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it; when we can, we will tell you why first. If we close a paid account without any fault of yours, we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top of the page. We will tell account holders about significant changes by email before they take effect. If you don’t agree with them, you can delete your account; continuing to use ClipsForAI after that date means you accept the new terms.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can take any dispute to the courts of your place of residence. For business users, the courts of Torre Annunziata (Italy) have jurisdiction.
